To absolutely no one's surprise - California continues to be one of the most polluted states in the U.S.

Debra Greene reports from Los Angeles: The American Lung Association's State of the Air Report finds that despite some progress, six California regions top the list for the worst pollution.

'Seventy-seven percent of people live in counties with failing grades for either ozone or particle pollution,' says spokeswoman Bonnie Holmes-Gen. The Los Angeles/Long Beach/Riverside area is number one for most smog in the country.

The Fresno/Medero area tops the lists for both short-term and annual particle pollution.
