Hundreds of thousands of commuters around the San Francisco area and Sacramento will have to find another way to get to work this morning. That's because the Bay Area Rapid Transit is on strike. Talks broke down Thursday night between the union for commuter rail workers and BART officials.
BART General Manager Grace Crunican says they needed to maintain certain changes in work rules in the contract. She said the unions decided they'd "take the money on the table but not the work rules."
