The eight-month long BART contract saga is taking another strange twist.
The "San Francisco Chronicle" says the transit agency is set to reject its own contract offer Thursday due to a mistake written into the contract.
BART says the mistake in the paid family leave clause would cost an extra $67 million.
The two sides met on Monday but could not come to a compromise.
If BART dumps its own offer, the two sides would have to head back to the bargaining table and come up with a new deal.
