Natalie Calvo, 7, was found alive nearly five hours after she was kidnapped from outside her Antioch home on Friday evening.

California Highway Patrol said Natalie was taken from her home on the 3800 block of Hummingbird Drive around 6:45 p.m. by a man armed with a black rifle.

CHP canceled the Amber Alert around 11:20 p.m. after Natalie was found safe in Antioch.

The suspect, identified as David Douglas, was taken into custody by Antioch police officers, Police Chief Allan Cantando said.
