Professors James Rothman of Yale University, UC Berkeley's Randy Schekman and Thomas Südhof of Stanford are the 2013 Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine.

Professor Juleen Zierath says the scientists have solved the mystery of how the cell organizes its transport system. In other words, how the right substances are delivered to the right places at the right times.
