LAKE COUNTY, Calif. -- Authorities in Lake County say a teen girl was held hostage in a toolbox and forced to work at a marijuana grow.

Ryan Balletto and Patrick Pearmain are accused of running a drug ring in Lake County and using a 15-year-old girl to process pot plants, while they sexually abused her and kept her inside a 4x2x2 foot toolbox with air holes drilled inside so she could breathe. All of this information, contained in a criminal complaint that's now been unsealed.

A months-long investigation led to the pair. When they were taken into custody authorities also found more than a thousand marijuana plants, a gas mask, night vision devices and loaded firearms, including an AR-15. These two could face life in prison if convicted.
