Wind is carrying smoke from Northern California wildfires into the Sacramento area, and that is going to make it a little more difficult for some people to breath.

Smoke from the Panther and Cedar fires in particular will reduce air quality in Sacramento during the day Thursday, but the wind direction is expected to change and that should help push the smoke out of the valley.

Until then, sensitive groups like the elderly, those will lung or heart disease, and children may face breathing concerns.
