SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento Fire Department investigators are looking into a series of fires at a charter school that they say were deliberately set.

The series of fires were set at the the Yau Pem Saub Academy Charter School on the seven thousand block of South Land Park Road. Sacramento Fire Assistant Chief Niko King.

"These small fires they appear to be deliberately set and they involve the burning of personal property and some other debris," King said.

King says investigators believe the fires were set by juveniles. He says it's important to keep an eye on schools in your community this time of year.

"If you happen to be driving by one, if you live by one and you see anyone nearby that, frankly does not belong there, we are asking that you report that to authorities," King said.
