RANCHO CORDOVA, CA- Three grass fires that were set within three days of each other along the American River Parkway in Rancho Cordova, could be the work of an arsonist, according to Sacramento Metro Fire.

The most recent blaze started around 9 P.M. Saturday near El Manto Drive, and torched about three acres. The first of the three fires started Thursday and burned about 100 acres along the American River Parkway near Highway 160.

Then on Friday, two fires merged into one burning close to 40 acres in the Rossmor Bar area.  If you saw anything Sac Metro Fire ask you to call their tip line at 916-859-3775.
