SACRAMENTO -- Representatives from the Fair Political Practices Commission announced in a news conference earlier this afternoon that Seattle financier Chris Hansen was behind efforts to force the Sacramento arena efforts on to the ballot.

The California FPPC said Friday that Hansen donated $100,000 to a Sacramento law firm that then used the money to finance the vote campaign. The announcement was made at a press conference to discuss a lawsuit filed with the FPPC to uncover the campaign's financial supporters.

Hansen led an effort to buy the Kings and move them to Seattle, earlier this year.
