Two box trailers were stolen from Woodland's Municipal Service Center. Woodland Police say they learned of the robbery at 7:30 Monday morning. Police say a chain-link gate was cut and the theft could have taken place anytime over the weekend.

One of the trailers contained tools and roadway signs valued at $100,000. Police are unsure what was in the second trailer but it's valued at about $17,000. Deputies with the Yolo County Sheriff's Department say they found one of the trailers, but police didn't say which one was recovered.

No suspect descriptions were released. If you have any information, you're asked to call 530-661-7800.
